My Paramedic School

Hello everyone, my name is John. I am an Emergency Medical Technician who is enrolled in Vermont Technical College's first ever Paramedic Program starting this fall. I am reaching out with the hopes of any help some of you may give to ease the fulfillment of my dream of becoming a Paramedic and to continue to serve my communities to the best of my ability.
I have been serving my community in one for another since I was a junior in high school and began volunteering as firefighter with my local Fire Dept including spending days out during and in Hurricane Sandy to help evacuate citizens and ensure their saftey. Eventually I found my passion in EMS. For years I have wished to further my career in EMS by becoming a Paramedic and have finally found the oppurtunity. I began saving to help with tuition 2 years ago however last year I was injured on the job and was out of work for 6 months. Although I am now fully healed and have returned to work, most of the money I had saved for tuition went to helping pay bills while I was out.
As any student today can attest , the cost of school is not cheap and any assisstance you are willing to provide
will be a huge help to me. I understand that not everyone can help and me even asking for this was dificult for me as I'm used to being the one helping, alls I ask is to pass this along for others that may be able to. Whether you can help or not thank you for taking the time to hear my story. I have started my goal out low and pending what happens I will continue it; however I will never raise it beyond the cost of the program.
