Gilbert Family

My name is Jonathan Gilbert and I'm sharing my father's story on his behalf. My dad's name is Neil Gilbert and has a failing liver.This has been an issue for the last 19 months.  As a result of my dad's failing liver my grandma (Neil's mother) has had to get a second job. I had to get a third job to support my family financially. My sister had to put her education on hold and get a job to support our family as well. My mother had to quit her job because someone needed to take care of my dad night and day because he easily becomes confused and has fluids in his legs and stomach.. My dad is currently on wait to be put on a transplant list.  His doctors have given him a MELD score of 27 which is extremely high. He is projected to be put on a transplant list in late July early August. In the meantime we are not able to keep up with the bills that come with my dad's persciptions and hospital care. I'm hoping for donations to keep my mom, dad, sister and three dogs in their condo until my dad finally receives a transplant and my mom is able to work again. Anything helps and bless you all.
