As I was walking threw Mountain One bank on my way to their community room to meet NARH former employees, I was stopped by a young lady I'd say in her 80's traveling in a wheel chair. She said " Valerie, I have been looking for you." She told me she wanted to donated to the gift card campaign and handed me $20.00. I asked her if she was sure she could afford it and she said even if she couldn't, she wanted me to share this gift with someone. This generosity brought tears to my eyes. I am so proud to live in such a generous, loving community and to call North Adams my home.
All Saints Episcopal Church just donated $500.00!

This is my nephew Sonny Bullett. He has been working for NARH for several years and was told 3 days ago that the hospital was closing. He along with over 500 other employees are not going to receive any employment benefits for many weeks. The Berkshire Food Project is collecting donations to purchase gift cards to help with daily living expenses. This is a shock to our community. Please help us help them by making a donation to this fundraising campaign. All donations made, are tax deductible.
