My name is Angela, and I am a legally blind cyclist. I am seeking support to purchase a recumbent tricycle (trike) so that I can participate in the 2015 BRAG. BRAG stands for Bike ride Across Georgia. Specialty cycles like recumbent trikes are expensive. A quality trike can cost thousands of dollars, and I have spent the last three months researching the one that will best fit my needs for touring.
I need a trike that can live up to the demands of the 2015 BRAG (Bike Ride Across Georgia). I have secured a traveling companion to accompany me on this week long trek across Georgia, and we are looking forward to participating in this annual event.
The cost of the trike, taxes, add-ons for safety, and the GoFundMe fees total around $3,900. I am asking for your support because I know this venture of independence is contagious. The sound of freedom inspires others to be free.
