Get Charlotte out and about

My name is Charlotte and I used to be able to get out and about. I have Ehlers Danlos Syndrome which is a rare condition affecting my connective tissue meaning my body can’t support itself causing dislocations of all my joints. Unfortunately this condition has taken away the use of my legs and now am unable to stand let alone walk with crutches like I was doing before. I am completely house bound!I suffer from dysautomnia and POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia Syndrome) what this basically means is I cannot regulate simple functions of the body such as temperature, blood pressure and heart rate. When I move my heart rate will spike and blood pressure drop causing me to collapse, faint or fall to the ground. I have urticarial vasculitis as well which means my immune system is attacking vital parts of the body so I have to be very careful as o am now on immunosuppressive tablets. I also have many other conditions which are causing problems and have affected my ability to be able to go out. I have now been stuck in my home since January and unable to walk at all. I have carers coming in daily and at the age of 24 I feel like I am isolated and unable to be independent. I have lost all control of my life and what I do.In the past year I have spent a lot of time in hospital with more than 10 admissions the latest of which was a three week stay after getting pneumonia. Whilst I was in hospital the infection caused an neurological attack (it was questioned as to whether I had a stroke) which has left my right hand side very weak and pretty much unusable. I have had so much going on that to get a tiny piece of my life back would be amazing.I have set up this page to ask kindly for some support in raising the funds I need to buy an electric wheelchair so I am able to get out again. This wheelchair would change my life and give me some independence back. I am only 24 yet I am trapped in the body of a 90 year old.Please help me to get some freedom back! I have been dealt a cruel card with these rare conditions and this really would change my life for the better. Thank you in advance for your help
