Rachael's Medical Fund

It's been quite the medical journey this year. I started getting tests in February and was finally diagnosed in June with Gastroparesis. Then began three months of IV therapy. I've since ended the infusions and have been slowly working toward living with my newfound challenge. We still have thousands of dollars from my IV therapy, which helped to return nutrients to my body that had been lacking for so long.

Along the way I've ended up in the Emergancy Room more times than I'd like. Once for an ocular migraine as I'd never had one before. That was scary, my depth perception was gone. However after a few CT scans they decided I was fine and sent me home.
Next was for my PICC line, the dressing was coming off, the area underneath all blistered and oozing. That warrented a total of three ER visits, the last of which to remove the line.
Finally I was recently in the ER due to tonsillitis. I could no longer swallow and no amount of medication lessened the pain. After a couple hours of pumping medications into me, I was able to go home and sleep and have since felt much better. I've never been in so much pain and so sick.
The catch is that our insurance is hardly covering any costs. We've been drowning in medical debt most of the year and I am currently not in a position to hold a job with just my dad for support. It would be such a blessing if we were debt free by Christmas, able to start next year without worrying and I could continue working toward school and a job again. Anything helps and I'd like to thank those who have already contributed these past months.
