Synthetic Drug Alerting K-9's Fund

As many of you know The Dakota Dyer Foundation has actively been fighting the Synthetic Drug Industry for the past 32 months ever since the loss of our son Dakota Blaze Dyer. Dakota was 14, an A-B student , defensive end on the football team and a muched loved and loving son and friend. He made the mistake of trying Synthetic Marijuana aka: Spice, K-2, Scobby Snax one time, which was a contributating cause of his death on March 10, 2012. Since then we have actively tried to help educate students, parents and law enforcement to the dangers of these Synthetic Poisons.
The DDF, has donated drug test kits to schools, scholorships to his high school, Mobile Field Test Units to Police Departments, set up drug drop boxes in 12 Police Departments and Sheriff's Offices across West Georgia that has resulted in Millions of Pills being taken off the streets. We have held Synthetic Drug Seminars and spoken to 1000's of students concerning Synthetic Drugs. We have helped promote newer and more acurate Synthetic Drug Detection Devices such as the Tru-Narc , and the K2-D2 Urine test kits. We have actively helped Federal, State and Local Law enforcement agencies indentify and arrest Synthetic Drug Dealers and Manufactors across the country that has resulted in Millions in cash and assets being seized with multiple arrest and convictions. And never not once have we asked for help!
But today we are now having to ask for your help to fund one of the newest forms of Synthetic Drug Identification. A company called Scent Logix has developed a training tool , that trains Police K-9's to alert on Synthetic Marijuana. The Dakota Dyer Foundation is going to purchase 3 K-9's specifically trained to alert on Synthetic Marijuana, yes they will be able to detect other drugs as well but these 3 K-9's will be the new Vanguard in Synthetic Drug Detection and hopefully will set the precedent for all Narcotic K-9's of the future.
Two of the K-9s have already been spoken for and named "DAKOTA" and "BLAZE", One will go to the Douglas County Sheriff's Department in Georgia and will be used in the Schools by the Lt. of the School Resourse Officers and on the street as well. The second will be donated to the Narcotic Task Force with the ALEA "Alabama Law Enforcement Agency" And will be used across the state of Alabama.
The 3rd K-9 will be a purely School Resouce Officer Narcotics K-9 to be used only in a school system. This K-9 has yet to be named or placed. The largest donor will have the privialge to choose this K-9's name and help in it's placement some where in the United States.
ALL money raised here will go towards the purchase of these K-9's, Ballistic Vest, Carriers for vehicals, and updated training. Any excess money raised will be go towards the future purchase and training of a 4th K-9.
Many times you see request for help with out a specific plan, except to help. We hope this explination gives you the confidence of the VERY Specific Plan we have layed out and where ALL donations will be going.
Our Hope and Prayers are that these K-9's trained to alert on Synthetic Marijuana will be the prelude to a newer and more productive way of helping Law Enforcement not only find and elliminate Synthetic Drugs but help keep our children safe in a school environment from Synthetic Drugs.
