Dan has a disease called Charcot Foot. He is stage 4 and has had his left foot and partial leg surgically removed due to the severity of the disease.
Charcot foot is a condition causing weakening of the bones in the foot that can occur in people who have significant nerve damage (neuropathy). The bones are weakened enough to fracture, and with continued walking the foot eventually changes shape. As the disorder progresses, the joints collapse and the foot takes on an abnormal shape, such as a rocker-bottom appearance
We all know Danny has worked 4 jobs over the years, along with his full time job he has been Elvis, Santa, Usher for the Cincinnati Reds and Bengals along with working at US Bank Arena. He has had a life altering event and is unable to work at this time.
