Totaled my car, Help!

On October 9th, 2014. I was in an auto accident that totaled my car. Thankfully I was completely unharmed and walked away from it. My 2004 Corolla is completely totaled on the otherhand. This leaves me in a bad postion as I cannot repair my car nor will I get enough money from the insurance to buy a new one cash. My hope is to get something reliable, safe and great on gas. That's all I really need. Without a car I would not be able to do my job. I am a Nanny who drives children around as a part of my job description. Saftey, Reliability and MPG are a must because of this. Just like everyone else I need my job. I can't afford to not work or lose my job for even a month. I have important medical bills and living costs to pay. I have just unfortunatly hit a low and can't seem to get out of it without something else kicking me while I'm down.
