Frontal Lobe Helmets for Tiger Moms

Donation protected
My sister-in-law is a forensic psychologist and she gave me some great advice when I first became a parent. She told me that if I really wanted to protect my kids, and ensure that they didn't grow up to be sociopaths, I'd make them wear a helmet ALL the time (not just for skiing and biking and stuff like that).

But it didn't have to be a full helmet, she said. It just needed to protect the frontal lobe, which is the front part of your brain (behind your forehead) that governs the ability to project future consequences resulting from current actions; the choice between good and bad actions; the override and suppression of socially unacceptable responses; and the modification of emotions to generally fit socially acceptable norms. (She didn't tell me all of that other stuff, Wikipedia did).

Anyway, once I saw that people were using GoFundMe to ask the public to replace their iPhones and buy them an XBOX, I figured why not use this forum to raise money to invent something whose working title is "Frontal Lobe Helmets for Tiger Moms."

Money raised will be used for materials and marketing of these "forehead helmets," which children would wear on their foreheads at all times from the time they left the womb until they turned 21.  After 21, the helmet would just be used to bang their heads against the desk of the jobs they got after making such great life decisions.*

*Actually, if I really do raise $1,000, I am not going to use it to invent and market a Frontal Lobe Helmet for Tiger Moms. I'll be donating it all to Alaska Legal Services Corporation, which provides low-income Alaskans with civil legal aid in housing, health, domestic violence, benefits, and family law.
