Help Me Foster an Animal in Need!

Hi! My name is Alexia and I would like to ask for your support in helping me to foster a dog or cat.
A few years ago, after my mother became the owner of three pitbull puppies, I became interested in learning how to care for dogs. My research led me to volunteering for several animal shelters in Dallas, and eventually I learned about fostering.
Fostering is providing a temporary home to a needy animal. Many animal shelters take in dogs, cats and other animals, but they are often short on space and resources, and this is where foster homes come in. Every dog or cat that is fostered allows another dog or cat to be cared for by the shelter. Foster homes provide TLC to dogs and cats, as well as provide opportunities for socialization, training, etc. Esentially, foster parents ready animals for adoption.
I have experience fostering, and after two months, our foster dog was adopted! It is a very rewarding experience to know that you have helped an animal find their forever home!
Since the last time we fostered, we've moved into a new apartment complex. The rescue shelter will provide everything else we need to foster (food, medical supplies, etc), but in order to receive approval from our apartment complex, we must have the funds for the pet fee. The fee is $400, $100 of which is refundable. We are committed to paying the monthly pet rent on our own, as well as any extra items our foster pet will need.
Previously, we fostered through DFW Rescue Me. We will probably go through that organization again, although we are considering fostering a cat for the first time.
