I am doing a challenge next year in loving memory of my beautiful Ridgeback Odin and for the love of animals and dogs, its "The Husky Trail Arctic challenge" where we take a team of dogs 260KM sledding across the frozen lakes of the Arctic. I would like to raise as much money as possible for animal rescue.
New Hope in Abbey Wood South East London are a very small charity and need all the help they can to look after and fund the many animals that come into their care. New Hope are dedicated to helping animals on death row & animals with medical needs. Their aim is to help as many animals as they can, given their circumstances and in particular, animals that have been turned away elsewhere.
They often take in animals in immediate danger to save them from death & then place them into other rescues once a space is available.
They occasionally rehome those that are considered rehomeable, but concentrate on being the middle man between immediate danger and rescue spaces. They care for animals in their own homes, foster homes or private boarding kennels, where they often have to keep many of the death row dogs.
New Hope are limited by space, fosterer’s availability & financial help. They rely on donations to help keep saving lives.
