Dearest Family ❤ As many of us may be aware countrywide lockdowns due to the corona virus have been devastating for rural, low income and poor communities across the world and most especially in India. Millions face the possibility of starvation before the virus maybe an issue in their communities and in this moment we have the opportunity to change this by bringing emergency food to families that need it most. At Anahata Ma (www.anahatama.com) we've been working constantly for the past 4 years and now this past year in partnership with Hridaya Yoga (www.hridaya-yoga.com) in Mazunte Mexico to support these rural and tribal villages in India by providing access to clean drinking water through the construction of wells and rainwater harvesting tanks and support to an orphanage of 12 children in southern Kerela. Our work now takes a shift into supplying food as poor families struggle to survive and we need your help! Our team in India is prepared to deliver seven days worth of rice to 500 families in southern Kerela. It costs just six dollars for one family for seven days of rice, meaning what is just pocket change for many of us in the west will help a family survive another week together in India. Our goal is raise $3,000 in 3 days to make this happen as quickly as possible as the clock is ticking and families need our support right now. 100% of your donation will go directly to the people as we are all volunteers and working purely for the love of those in need.
