Food Trucks Feeding Nurses

Hey Everyone!
For years now, Westchester based food trucks have been serving many hospitals in both Westchester county and New York City. Hospitals have found it to be easier for trucks to service the needs and wants of the staff because we can remain outside and staff can come to us.
During this unprecedented time nurses and medical staff have been stretched beyond belief, and with the increasing numbers of Covid 19 cases on the rise everyday the growing risk for up close contact is becoming more and more risky. Food trucks serve individually wrapped meal items that will limit the need for anyone to enter the hospital to drop off trays of food that may potentially be at risk for cross contamination.
Covid 19 has struck our trucks, just as it has all others in the food industry. We are all struggling. All events have been cancelled, and the future is uncertain for all of us that have a love and passion to feed others. One of the many struggles during this pandemic is leaving nurses and doctors to work day and night with very little time to think about themselves or when or where they will be able to have their next meal. Realizing that we have the ability to go to them, we have decided to create this fundraiser that will help us feed those on the front lines, working right here in the state that has been most affected by this virus.
We are hopeful with your love and support we can begin to serve these amazing hospital heroes and provide them with nourishing meals to keep them going as they work around the clock.
100% of the donations to this GoFundMe will be put towards serving meals to the local hospitals we have been fortunate to connect with.
Some of the Hospitals include Northern Westchester, Phelps Memorial, Jacobi Medical Center, Montefiore, Putnam Hospital, Elizabeth Seton Pediatric, White Plains Hospital, and Westchester Medical.
