Help Amy stay afloat in L.A.

Update: it is now Oct 9 and I am still without a job.

On August 25, I was laid off from my server job at a sports bar with no reason or explanation given to me except "owners are making changes and unfortunately, you are not a part of them" Since then, I have been searching relentlessly for a new bartending/server job (or any job) that will let me work nights/weekends while pursuing my acting/modeling career in Hollywood & not having much success despite several interviews. My hunt became a little more problematic on 9/17 when my car decided to become ill. Also, my unemployment has not started yet and my first week of it will probably be docked due to the small acting job that I booked (but have not been paid for yet)

This also poses a problem for me because not only is it hard to look for a job when you don't have a working car, but also makes it difficult for me to work freelance catering jobs or work as a background actor as many times public transportation does not go to the locations where I could be hired.

The cycle goes a little something like this: no job = no money = no way to get my car fixed = no way to find a job = still no money (see where I'm going with this?)

I am taking donations to get my car fixed and any money leftover will be given to charity or I'll just donate it to another person who might be a little down on their luck. Regardless, it will go to a good cause.
