FIREMAN WILL DANCE FOR TOBY'S FUND
Charleston's No Kill Animal shelter, The Charleston Animal Society, treats and heals sick, injured and abandoned animals. There is never enough money for these animals, and we are raising money for Toby's Fund in a way that's a little different than regular fundraisers...
See, if we raise our goal of $5,000 for Toby's Fund by September 1, 2015, Fire Fighter and Macho Man James Romer will perform a spicy Latin dance routine on the local news.
James is already one of the models for the Charleston Animal Society's Firefighter Calendar, but he felt he could do more to help our furry friends in Charleston.
So he teamed up with Georgia Schrubbe of Baila ConmiGA, a self-described ballerina-gone-wild who wants to make a difference in the Charleston community.
Every week, they're getting together and polishing up James's dance moves so his hips DON'T lie. It's a good thing that James is a fire fighter, because they are surely going to set the dance floor on fire.
