Fight For Bella

Donation protected

Baby Bella became yet another victim of medical kidnapping at the hands of Boston Children's Hospital on May 2, 2014.  She was just over 3 months old.

Bella had been born six weeks premature with severe reflux and underwent multiple formula trials to help her gain weight.  The parents found the formula that worked best but after they moved to Alabama, they were threatened to bring Bella back to Massachusetts to prove she was well.  She was examined by a Beverly hospital that determined she was fine to be released just before the MA Department of Children and Families stepped in and demanded she be taken to BCH.

Several days after being required to become a patient at BCH they cited "Failure To Thrive With No Medical Cause" as the primary allegation, and DCF used their "emergency powers" to forcefully remove Bella from her mother's arms.

Nearly a year later, the battle continues to bring Bella home. The full story and all updates can be found at www.facebook.com/fightforbella

Any and all funds raised will greatly assist Bella's family with legal expenses to retain private counsel which they are currently unable to do.  They want their daughter back desperately and will appreciate any help large or small to help get their daughter home.
