Fight for Appalachian

Hello. My name is Monserrat, but I go by Monse. I am a senior in high school. Throughout the end of 2014 I was applying to colleges. Out of all the schools that I applied to,  Appalachian State University stood out to me the most. The only problem is that I am undocumented. I do have DACA (Deffered Action for Childhood Arrivals), which allows me to actually attend a university. Since I am undocumented, I have to pay out-of-state tuition. The rates for room and board, tuition, and meals is about $30,000 dollars a year. Out-of-state tuition is $20,000 dollars a year, campared to in-state tuition which is $7,000 dollars a year.  My family does not make a lot of money and does not have the money to send me to school after I graduate. My dream is to become a nurse because my parents have always taught me to help others when they are in need and simply becuase I love the medical field. Right now I am in the process of applying for scholarships, since that would be the only way for me to go to school. I have decided upon this fundraising opportunity because I am hoping that others will see my cause and help. Thank you so much for your time and any help would be greatly appreciated!
