17 year old Kiera Pheiffer's life was transformed forever on October 4, 2014 at 9:00 A.M. As she was on her way to work Kiera was hit by a pickup truck. Kiera has suffered many serious injuries and is currently fighting for her life. As many individuals could imagine, this occurence has affected many lives throughout her community: including her family, friends, and peers. She has had some surguries performed so far and has a couple more to go as her body becomes more stable. We can infer that there is a very long road to recovery ahead for her along with a lot of hospital expenses that need to be paid.
