Jaime's f*ck cancer fund

On September 6 2016 I was told I had a large tumor on the right side of my abdomen and on November 10th  I had the mass removed. Life had been a struggle up to that point already, then I had to take 6-8 weeks off work for my recovery. Being a single mom I had no one to rely on to help me financially, however I did what I could with the little EI gave me to survive and any help I received along the way. Juggling this to pay that obviously didn't  help with  my mental health, but I pushed through thinking I would be back to work soon enough and the nightmare would be over.
The tumor they removed was 10 by 20.6 cm (the size of a small watermelon as my Dr. described it). On December 20th I was told I had ovarian cancer, Merry Christmas! I kept it from my son until after my 1st appointment with the cancer clinic. The Oncologist is confident that I will be cancer free after having a radical hysterectomy on Februaury 16th and without further treatment. However, we won't know for sure until at least 2 weeks after my surgery at which point I will find out the  stage of cancer as well.
I will be needing to take another 6 weeks off and unfortunately I have not yet been able to get it together since my last surgery.
I'm really struggling this time. Unfortunately, I was too proud to do this sooner and my surgery date is creeping up. I am behind on everything and I need a little help to get by. I am doing what I can when I can, I've just realized sometimes it's ok to ask for help.
I have tried to remain as positive as possible and even cracking jokes - laughter really is the best medicine!  So, if you aren't able to donate, maybe you have a really wicked or dirty joke to share?!! Either way will make me happy
Thank you for even taking the time to read this (for those of you that made it this far). I appreciate every kind word, thought and prayer.
