Life beyond Foster Care ...
Faces of Success journals inspirational stories of people in the community - our community - that have walked a path not many would choose.
That of a foster child.
These amazing individuals openly share their lives, recall their history and the adversity they have faced and celebrate the foster parents, families or individuals who taught them self worth, to move forward and to create their own future.
The goal of this crowdfunding campaign is to publish these stories in a book format, available later this year.
Faces of success needs support to achieve this goal and would appreciate your donation to the gofundme campaign. This will assist in the extensive research, print and design costs and face to face meetings with Australia wide contributors.
The Gofundme campaign will also enable Faces of Success to educate corporates about the great work foster carers do and the importance of their support of foster care causes.
If this can be achieved, Faces of Success will then create the next chapter ... Life as a Foster Carer.
Any donation you can provide will help immensely in creating a new way of looking at the foster care relationship between carer and child, and hopefully help others in the community consider helping these kids. It will also help foster kids in the community know that they are not alone, that people like them have walked the same path, know the pain and can grow and triumph over this adversity.
People just like them.
A part of the profits will also be donated to Pyjama Foundation which "gives children in foster care the opportunity to change the direction of their life through Learning, Life Skills and Confidence".
Thanks for considering helping Faces of Success achieve this vision and susequently help kids in care. Through sharing these stories from those who've walked in their shoes, hopefully it can change a child in foster care's ideas about their future.
