“Where Students Learn About THEIR World”
Why A MicroSociety Academy Charter School (MACS)?
In August the MicroSociety Academy Charter School of So. NH (MACS) won approval from the NH State Board of Education to open in SEPTEMBER, 2015 the first K-8 MicroSociety public charter school in NH. It is MACS parent founders’ belief that a MicroSociety school will better prepare children for furthering their post high school education, college, and the 21st Century workplace. The MicroSociety curriculum will meet all state and local standards using technology-infused best practice instruction that will integrate opportunities for students to apply their learning creating the agencies and ventures of THEIR own small society in a school.
Why A Go Fund Me Campaign?
MACS will be operating on a very lean budget due to NH public charter schools receiving less than half of the per pupil adequacy funding as regular public schools. So MACS needs the generous help of local businesses, parents, and individuals who are willing to donate to help augment the budget.
Among other things, your donation will go towards helping MACS fund:
• Printing marketing materials for MACS community events/awareness campaigns.
• Purchasing books/technology for Media Center or for MicroSociety student business materials that will help students learn how a their venture and their world works.

--To build parent and community interest in opening MicroSociety Academy Charter School in order to service students from Nashua, Merrimack, Hollis, Brookline, Milford, Hudson, Windham, Litchfield, Pelham and throughout New Hampshire.
--To network with community members interested in becoming Community Partners—on MACS Board of Trustees (1 to 3 yr. term), Board of Advisors (on call basis), or as Business Mentors.
