YOUNG GIRLS SUFFER TRAGIC ACCIDENT IN WESTERN NY

Donation protected
On May 26, 2022, Angie Stark- Czerniejewski ( From Western New York) celebrated the start of the long Memorial Day weekend with her 4 small girls, Aria, age 4; Madison, age 7; and twin girls, Kennedy and Cadence, age 9 when the unthinkable happened. The family was ending their night by making smores in the backyard as a family like they have done dozens of times in the past.

Sadly, little did they know what it was going to turn into.

There was a freak accident with the fire while the girls were standing around it and 3 out of 4 of the girls went up in flames.

One of the twin girls Kennedy, escaped the incident-somehow, unharmed.- Heroically, she put out the fire on her 4-year-old sister and grabbed her mom’s phone to call 911. She had witnessed everything. Aria and Madison suffered moderate burns on their legs and feet- Madison is suffering 2nd-degree burns from her ankles to knee caps but were recently released from Oshei Children’s Hospital the day after the incident.

Sadly, Cadence ( other twin) was critically burned. Because of the severity of her condition, she was immediately transported to Golisano Children’s Hospital which is attached to Strong Memorial Hospital, in Rochester, NY. Cadence remains in critical condition in the pediatric burn unit and is suffering from more than 50% of her body being covered in 3rd to 4th-degree burns. At this time, the length of her recovery is unknown, and is fighting for her life. Cadence remains on a ventilator to control her breathing. The family waits for hour-to-hour updates on the condition of Cadence’s organs and stability.

It remains unclear how long Cadence’s recovery will be, or if she will make a full recovery. It is expected that she will remain at Golisano Children’s Hospital for a number of months as she undergoes numerous skin graft surgeries and fights for her life.

Angie will be out of work for the upcoming months so she is able to sit at Cadence’s side each day. She is relying on the support of her family and friends to provide care to her other 3 girls, while she is over an hour away in Rochester.

This tragedy comes as Cadence was getting ready to participate in Cheerleading with her sisters and friends this summer.

We are looking for the community's help and support in any way possible you can offer to Angie is greatly appreciated. We are also asking for as many PRAYERS as possible for Cadence, her sisters, and her entire family to help them get through this tragedy. We are hoping to provide her with food and other resources.
