Our mom, Kathy, was diagnosed with small cell lung cancer in April 2015. She completed chemo and radiation treatments and was cancer free for 5 weeks. Then, it returned with a vengeance. It has grown quickly in her liver, lungs, and esophagus. Although, mom started chemo again, it was too invasive and killing her quicker than the cancer. She has since opted for natural medicine and prayer. Her onconcologist informed us that she won't make it past August. We pray for a different outcome but realize the odds are against us. It's a hard truth that we struggle to say aloud. Our mom is dying, after 57 years. She has overcome domestic violence, a divorce that left her homeless and managed to maintain a positive attitude and has given all she ever had to her children and those in need...never asking for a helping hand...or a handout. That's why we, her children, are asking for you to help raise the funds for her dying wish. Please help Kathy take a final "Thelma and Louise", coast-to-coast road trip with her best friend and sister, Vera. She deserves it . And she will make it the best investment you ever made.
