Whittier Dog Club: Urgent Care for Dogs in the LA Fires

Support Whittier Dog Club: Rescuing & Caring for Dogs Displaced by LA Fires
In the midst of the devastating Los Angeles fires, Whittier Dog Club, a soon-to-open dog training and boarding facility, stepped up to rescue and care for displaced and injured dogs. Even before officially opening, this small family-run business made it their mission to help animals in crisis, driving their van full of supplies—kennels, food, and blankets—to rescue dogs, deliver donations to shelters, and reunite pets with their families.
I’m Sara, and I was inspired to help after hearing about Max, a brave pup rescued in Altadena while firefighters battled the blaze nearby. Whittier Dog Club’s efforts have been extraordinary, but everything they’ve done so far has been funded out of their own pockets, and they need our help to continue.
Your donations will support:
- Gasoline costs to rescue and transport animals and deliver donations.
- Veterinary carefor six rescued dogs, including Max and others in need of urgent care.
- Support for volunteers who’ve paused their lives to help.
- Supplies like food, blankets, and kennels for animals in crisis.
Whittier Dog Club isn’t a rescue organization but a small business that hasn’t even opened yet. Their dedication to helping displaced animals has meant putting their business plans on hold, and they need community support to keep going.
Follow their journey on Instagram and help spread the word by sharing this fundraiser. Thank you!
