Raise the Roof on Charis Camp's Dining Hall!

My name is Debbie, from Richmond, BC and I'm raising money to benefit CHARIS CAMP & CONFERENCE CENTRE. This camp is located in the Fraser Valley, in Chilliwack, British Columbia. Darren Duncalfe, is the Executive Director. His wife is a colleague of mine.  On November 15, 2021, Charis Camp opened its doors to flood evacuees.  The staff is working around the clock to ensure everyone is loved and cared for. However, the camp's basement flooded and its dining hall roof is leaking. Currently, the roof is covered by two tarps, weighed down by some bricks. More rain is in the forecast. The cost of this repair is $40,000 CAD. Let's raise a new roof for this vital centre of hope and refuge!

Note: The Charis Camp Board of Directors will seek to apply funds raised to put on a new roof over the dining hall, but retain the right to redirect funds to operational needs when necessary.
