Natavi Returns to NYC

Donation protected

On December 21, 2011, I left New York City to embark on the Tribe of Dreams Tour, what I had planned to be a one year trek across the US in my van, NYC to San Francisco and back, culminating on December 21, 2012, the end of the Mayan calendar.  But the farther I got from the city, the less I wanted to return.  I had left a world where I was losing myself amidst the chaos and frenzy and was finding peace, wildness and adventure on the road.  I soon felt like I could never go back to city living, especially New York, after feeling so free. Well, every true quest requires a return.  We are first called to leave our world of familiarity and comfort and go out into the unknown, the shadows, the other realms, and I have had an unspeakably beautiful, mysterious, challenging and transformative adventure these past three and a half years.  But the journey asks each of us to go beyond that and to return to where we started, bringing with us all that we found, discovered, learned, and were blessed with in order to share it with and serve our family and community that sent us off in the first place, in turn blessing them too.

That time has come for me.  I swore I'd never return to NYC, not because the city wasn't a good place, but because I had felt the vibrations of presence, peace, and joy in such a deeper way after leaving and I didn't think I'd ever have the courage and strength required to live in a place with such immense energies and be able to maintain such a harmonic vibration of wellness.  But the truth I see now is that we can walk our path anywhere, we can do our work anywhere, and the distractions and obstacles and that may arise in doing so are only there in order to fortify us and invite us into deeper commitment to our truth and our path.  I have been afraid to come back to New York because I didn't trust myself.

I am ready now.  I am returning to NYC, not only to strengthen, challenge, and illuminate my own process of wholeness, but also to share these gifts of love, wellness, and music the road has given to me as an offering back to that city and all those people that sent me off with love and enthusiastic support over 3 years ago.  This music started to grow in NYC and asked to be taken on the road and shared.  It is ready to grow and expand once again into a much bigger and deeper offering, and New York is inviting me back in order to do so in its intricate web of creative energy and magic.

This fundraiser is the first step in that journey home.  I need to raise about $2000 dollars in order to fuel my van and my body as I travel back across  the country.   Anything more than that I receive will go towards helping reestablish a root in the city.  Every little bit helps, and I am offering rewards of music in return!

If you donate anything at all, even $1, you will receive two tracks from my already recorded, soon-to-be released first album, "First Day."
If you donate $9 or more, you will receive a digital copy of the full album!
For donations of $20 or more, you will receive a signed, hard copy of the album mailed to your house, as well as the digital copy.
And if you donate $45 or more, I will record a Youtube video covering any song of your choice, with a dedication to you! (as well as receiving the hard and digital copies of the album of course!)

Thank you for your continued support, Tribe of Dreams!  You give me wings to fly, and where one of us flies, we all fly.

See you in NYC!
