Two sisters & 5 children fleeing Ukraine

Hi, my name is Tracy. I have set up this page on behalf of myself, my husband Sebastian and our good friends Coral & Andy. We are fundraising to help us support 2 sisters and their 5 children - 4 boys and 1 girl -and their family dog. We will be providing a safe and secure home for them in Shropshire between our two homes in our village whilst their husbands stay behind in Ukraine and fight for their country. we are now applying for their visas and making arrangements to help them flee the country they love and the home and belongings they have worked so hard for. We wanted to try and raise funds to help towards the cost for transport to Poland, accommodation and food whilst in Poland and also to fund a mini bus and fuel to collect the family and their dog from Poland. Any funds remaining will be used to help pay towards school uniforms, PE kits etc for the children as well as clothes and toiletries they will need. We have bought furniture and other items but with there being 7 of them there is a lot we need to source in readiness for their arrival. If we can we would love to raise enough funds to put aside for the childrens future. In June I am doing the fastest zip line in the world - reaching speeds of 118mph in the hope of raising funds for this family in need. For those of you that know me, you will be aware that I’m terrified of heights!!! So I have set this page up in the hope our kind and generous friends, family and work colleagues will support by sponsoring me, or just donate funds towards us supporting this desperate family.
