Troops Triathlon - Rest With Joseph and Friends

Rest With Joseph and Friends are raising funds to create a burial and memorial garden for parents to lay to rest their baby lost through late miscarriage. The garden will give many parents who find themselves in this distressing position a place to heal and provide them with comfort from the devastating grief and loss they are suffering after the loss of their child.

 

The four Trustees of the charity (Darren, Kay, Hettie and Stuart) are dressing up as monkeys this Easter Weekend (15th April to 17th April). A triathlon each day from St Austell and finishing at Lands End on Easter Sunday.
Swim - 66 lengths (over a Mile) in full monkey costume.
Cycle - 2 Monkeys cycling 85miles each on a BMX.
Wheelchair/Walk - over 6 miles a Monkey learning to walk again. 

 

Your donation will make a difference to families in utter grief and dismay. Holding your still baby in your arms and having no legal documentation or acknowledgment that your baby belongs to you, leaves families devastated and grieving in isolation. You will help them cherish and recognise their beloved baby angels life and help them know their babies are not only in their hearts, but our hearts and will be remembered as being part of our World for eternity.
