My name is Gary McKee and I’ve been a fundraiser for more than 20 years raising around £2 million for charity.

In 2022 I ran 365 marathons in 365 days and raised £1.3m for Macmillan Cancer Support and Hospice at Home West Cumbria. Sadly one of the 365 team members Bill Arnott passed away suddenly in August and a run was planned to celebrate his life. Having recently heard that the son (Charlie Reid) of a friend (Howard Kirkbride) has been diagnosed with a very rare brain tumour it was decided to use the run as an opportunity to raise funds for the family to help with travelling and hotel costs while Charlie gets treatment.
