Dear Beechwood Family,
We hope you and your family are well and safe during this unprecedented and perilous time. As you know, while Beechwood’s doors remain closed due to government orders, they have given families burdened by this disruption the grace to forgo tuition payments. From the start, they have also continued to support the Beechwood community of teachers and employees to make sure no one is further impacted financially during a time when they can not do what they love so much and care for our children.
This act of kindness and generosity was made before anyone knew the extent of the quarantine, or what, if any, support the government was going to provide, and it shows just how strong their love and commitment is to The Beechwood family. Since then, we have been told that the school was thankfully able to secure a PPP loan to cover the cost of payroll through the end of the school year. That said, there are many costs to keeping the school running, and there will be additional financial burdens as they prepare to open their doors in the safest way possible. Two immediate examples of such costs are no-touch thermometers to monitor student health, as well as a new electronic entry/sign-in system to minimize contact.
In light of this, we have set up a GoFundMe account and would like to encourage you, if you are able, to make a contribution to the school as your family sees fit. We understand many in our community have been impacted financially by this crisis. Whether you have the means to donate the remaining tuition payments, a small portion, or even just a simple share on FaceBook to spread the word - this will greatly help keep our beloved school operating in the best capacity to serve Beechwood families upon reopening.
Again, please feel free to share our campaign on social media.
Thank you for your support!
P.S. While this campaign was created on behalf of a group of concerned parents, any questions regarding the GoFundMe account can be directed to Tracy Reuter. Any questions regarding the school, it’s processes or expenses can be addressed directly to The Beechwood School by calling the main office.
