Support Independent Product Testing

Having regular and independent testing for FIP treatment products is a very important part of helping to ensure the safety of our cats while in treatment, advancing/improving product quality control, and obtaining and sharing reliable data.

Unfortunately, access to independent, transparent, and unbiased testing data to allow kitty parents to make informed decisions has seldom been a reality. Other complicating factors include financial incentives for vendors and the many support groups who are commissioned by them.

Often claims are made about product testing with no evidence being provided. What little testing has been done has typically been done by vendors instead of independent labs, and results are not usually shared.

With your help, we want to change this!

We are raising money for product sample testing at testing facilities in North America - universities such as UC Davis and other independent laboratories. The results will be shared publicly with kitty parents, vets and researchers. The safety and wellbeing of our cats, and transparency with regard to the quality of the treatment products available in this unregulated market must always come first and we are asking for your help to make this possible.
