Many of you who's lives have been touched by Reece have asked to contribute in someway, so we've decided to start this page.
It's with heavy hearts and in sheer disbelief that we as a family are writing this. At the young age of just 30 years old, Reece's impact on this earth was phenomenal. Tragically, on father's day, he was stolen from us.
He leaves behind his 2 year old daughter, Amory, who he absolutely adored. Words can't begin to describe the type of love he had for her. He doted on her, she wanted for nothing and was permanently attached to his side. His love was above and beyond that of a father. She will never be able to comprehend what has happened to her Daddy. He can no longer pick her up from nursery or tuck her into bed. Amory now has to endure the pain of a single parent household. Birthdays, holidays and life itself just won't be the same.
It is difficult to articulate the emptiness each of us are now left with. Reece's upbringing shaped the beautiful character that he grew into, he was well loved and supported growing up by an unbreakable family network underpinned by Mom, Dad and his grandad Fr Deson.
Like many of you who will have known Reece, it is impossible to think about him without being overwhelmed with memories of his infectious laugh. He truly was one of a kind. He would go to the end of the world for those that he loved and nothing was ever too much to ask, admittedly his "10 minutes" would be a few hours, but he would never let you down.
The damage is irreparable, we are broken beyond belief.
