Hi, we are Echo Modern Dance, a Chicago based non-profit dance company. We are a group of dance artists who collaborate and make art together. We provide opportunities for people pursuing both dance and non-dance careers to continue moving, performing, and choreographing. So many dancers feel that they have either two options: become professional or stop dancing seriously. We want to change that expectation. We aim to make dance a welcoming and safe space for all, not only for our company members but also for our community who supports us.
This season we are fundraising for our live performance in June and prep for our next season. The funding will to things such as studio space, photographer fees, theater rentals, videography and other resources to help make our goals possible.
