My name is Yevheniia, and I am a young artist from Ukraine. When the war began, I was forced to leave my home and move to the US, where I now live with my sister and brother‑in‑law. My father is currently serving in the military in Ukraine, and while I miss my family and home deeply, I am determined to make the most of the opportunities I have here in America. I have been passionate about art for as long as I can remember, but I never thought about making a career out of it until I came here.

I worked hard to graduate high school early and have been accepted to the Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), the top art and design school in the United States. Most of my art is inspired by Ukrainian culture because I want to share and preserve the knowledge of my heritage.

This fundraiser will help me cover tuition, housing, and art supplies as I pursue my dream of becoming a professional artist. I am grateful for any support you can offer, your generosity will help me build a future in art and keep the spirit of Ukraine alive through my work.
