Support Nick: A Firefighter’s Fight Against Colon Cancer

Nick has spent his life answering the call when others were in need. As a dedicated firefighter/Paramedic with the Blackwell Fire Department, and a volunteer firefighter with the Kaw City Fire Department, he’s risked his life countless times to protect our community, our homes, and our families. Now, it’s our turn to stand with him.

Recently, Nick was diagnosed with colon cancer — a battle no one ever expects to face. Even as he begins treatment, Nick’s courage and determination remain strong. But cancer brings not only physical and emotional challenges, but also significant financial burdens: medical bills, travel for treatments, time away from work, and daily living costs that can quickly add up.

We’re asking our friends, family, and community to rally around Nick and his family. Every donation — no matter how small — will help ease this burden so they can focus on what truly matters: Nick’s recovery.
