St. Joseph's Zambia Immersion Trip 2025

St Joseph’s Fairview continues with the tradition of the biannual Zambia Immersion Project with Zamda Ireland this July 2025. 12 students from TY and 5th Year will be accompanying 5 teachers and a videographer on this once in a lifetime trip. Students will be working with a school called Sables Nua, a nonprofit, free school for students from age 4-19. They will be immersing themselves in the local culture and community of Kabwe, Zambia.

Students are working towards a 15,000 euro target to donate for Sables Nua for construction, school supplies, medical aid and pastoral care. Without donations, this school will cease to function.

This trip takes place during students free time and is entirely self-funded, leaving Ireland on July 15th to return on July 31st 2025.
