Service paws for Persephone

Hi there,
I'm Persephone and with the help of family and friends I have been able to adopt a rescue puppy, do the basic trainings to help him become a service dog and overcome some medical challenges he had during his first 2 years. (BTW - his name is Xander (X -ander) and he is my best friend!)
Now that he has the basics and is moving a bit more out of his puppy-ness, I need to do more intensive, one-on-one training, with an individual trainer, to help Xander learn how to respond to my anxiety and my seizures.
I have found a GREAT trainer (Emily Lewis) and we have started the work. The biggest challenge is coming up with the funding to cover the costs. My mom applied to a couple of foundations who provide grants for service dogs, mostly ones that are purchased trained, from breeders (costs averaging $20000). The grants were denied.
As you can see, I'm not looking for a huge amount - just enough to complete the individual training and purchase the equipment needed for Xander to support me in my daily life (ex: vest, harness, bridge handle, jacket) Any little bit helps.
Thanks so very much,
Persephone
