Send Aliana to The National Ballet School!

Hello family and friends,

Once again, Aliana is preparing for another summer at The National Ballet School of Canada! This year, Aliana will be joining the NBS family by staying in residence for the entire month of July. Last year, Ali attended as a day student and was accompanied by me. It was an incredible month resulting in an invite to attend NBS for the 2023/2024 school year. After careful deliberation however, Aliana decided to defer for at least a year. NBS has been incredibly supportive and has very warmly welcomed Aliana to return again this summer to audition for placement in their pre professional program. This time, she will be test running life on campus and being away from home full time. This has been a huge decision making process for our family, and we want to give Aliana every opportunity to follow her dreams. Every year, approximately 150 hopeful dancers audition for the NBS summer program and out of those talents, only 50 dancers will be invited to take the program full time. We are reaching out to loved ones once again to help support and encourage Aliana's dream to continue her training as a ballet dancer. We understand that many are experiencing financial strain and we certainly do not want to make anyone feel pressure to give. If you cannot donate financially, we are also collecting bottles for recycling! So if you live near us and don't mind saving your bottles for us to take to the depo...that's a blessing to us too!!
