2nd Annual Pawtoberfest

The Paws and Claws student organization at the University of Connecticut promotes the welfare and importance of animals and educates the public on animal-related issues. Our group volunteers at animal rescues and organizations in the local area, increases awareness, and makes contributions to animal establishments in the Connecticut area.

This semester, we are hosting our Second Annual Pawtoberfest on October 26, 2019 on the UConn Storrs campus. The event will include food, games, prizes, pumpkin painting, dog costume contest, and more! We will be raising money to support Big Fluffy Dog Rescue. Big Fluffy Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to helping giant mixed breed dogs in need. You can learn more about Big Fluffy Dog Rescue here: https://bigfluffydogs.com/.
