Building A School For GOSSACE Orphanage In Uganda

For about 10 years, my family and I have been actively involved in various developmental, educational and social care projects with a couple of orphanages in Uganda:
The GOSSACE Orphanage in the village of Golomolo and TRIO School an Orphanage located in the city of Mityana. Whether these children have lost their parents to HIV or suffer from the disease themselves, our goal is to restore their hearts with love and provide them with a safe and healthy environment. With the overwhelming help from our family and friends, we have been able to achieve so much already.
We have built a dining room with a conventional kitchen equipped with proper utensils and seating so the children no longer need to be eating outside in all kinds of weather, with nothing but an old cup, every time they ate.
We have installed solar energy panels so they can have electricity. We have created an irrigation system where rain water is collected from the roofs of the buildings through a piping system so that the water can be collected and reused. We have drilled into the ground and installed a pump so that they are able to draw water from there as well. We have also provided some laptops, books, copier and educational materials. Money is sent every month in order to ensure no child goes unfed.
None of this could be done, however, without all of the amazing people in our lives who contribute in making it happen. Our next project, the one we are currently raising money for, is to build these children a proper school. Their current one is a (ready to fall apart) wooden structure with blue tarp full of holes as the side walls. We are looking to raise a minimum of $60,000 so that the kids will have a safe and conducive learning environment.
To say we appreciate every single person who has contributed to changing the lives of these children is an understatement. From the deepest parts of our hearts, THANK YOU! There is nothing more important than helping each other. We are all in this together.
