I am Ayman Akram Abudan, I am 21 years old.

Our life before the war was very beautiful and peaceful. We have a warm house full of love and security with the rest of my family members. I have my studies, which the occupation deprived me of, and I was doing my best to start working after I graduated from university.

When I caught a glimmer of hope to achieve my goal, the morning of October 7th came. We have not seen the light from that moment until this day. The cruel war came, destroying everything. It destroyed my family’s home, my brother’s shop, and our own business. It was burned, bombed, and completely destroyed. We have no future or dream.

In the northern Gaza Strip, we saw forms of suffering, with bombing, destruction, and random missiles targeting civilians.

Which prompted us to leave our home, carrying with us nothing but our dreams and the clothes we wear to cover our bodies, and from here began the journey of displacement to the south of the Gaza Strip,

We saw forms of suffering, with bombing, destruction, and random missiles targeting civilians which prompted us to leave our home, carrying with us nothing but our dreams and the clothes we wear to cover our bodies, and from here began the journey of displacement to the south of the Gaza Strip, which the occupation claims is a safe area, under the weight of bombing and a machine of killing and destruction that does not know the meaning of mercy, where we remained in the car for three hours of continuous fear and terror.

From here began the journey of toil and fatigue, seeking to provide the minimum requirements of life for drinking water and water for daily use. The diligent search for flour to eat and what can be obtained for basic needs at a minimum and less.

With the beginning of summer, the heat is intense. We pile our belongings next to our lost dreams.  We live a life of homelessness and hunger without choice.  We suffer from sunburn and malnutrition.
