We are raising funds to create a monthly lego club for children with additional needs and their families in Royston and the surrounding villages.
There are hardly any services or social activities in this corner of Hertfordshire for children with additional needs. This not only affects the children who may be the only child with additional needs in their peer group at school but also their families who can feel isolated and judged by others who don't share their journey through parenting.
This will be a chance for us all to get together share experiences and support each other whilst the kids build some lego and hopefully bond too.
Funds will be used to buy lego, tea, coffee, cake and pay for hiring venues. Our first club is on the 2nd Novemeber and we just need a boost to get started.
