Haedt Family Tornado Assistance

"Everyone is OK"...those were the most important words to hear after a severe tornado hit Rochelle, IL and affected the life of a dear, dear friend and her family on April 9th. Jaime, Ryan, and their 3 beautiful children, Cohen, Leni and Joey are ok,  but unfortunately their home is not. Their home was leveled in seconds, cars are gone and all the familiarities of home were reduced to rubble. Complete devastation doesn't begin to describe what The Haedts and their community are dealing with right now.

All the money collected through this page will be donated to The Haedts as they begin to rebuild their home and life. Anything you are able to give is beyond appreciated...even if it's just thoughts and prayers.

My heart is filled with joy that my friend and her family survived such a horrible and intense storm. Looking at the nightmarish scene, it's nothing short of a miracle that they walked away with just some bruises and scratches. The emotional ties to a home are strong...first the clean up, then the rebuild - slowly their life will become their own again, but it's going to take a lot of work and time. So glad everyone is ok.
