Reward Fund to Stop Dog Killer

Donation protected

Three dogs are dead and others injured due to amphetamine poisoning in the Equestrian Acres neighborhood in Palmer, Alaska. We are raising reward funds to catch the dog killer.

Hi, I’m Krysta. A stranger poisoned my dog, Mishka, on March 1, 2023. Within hours, she died in agony and there was nothing anyone could do to save her.

Tests confirmed she was poisoned with amphetamines. On March 27th, my neighbor’s dog, Lucy, was killed the same way. A third dog owner has come forward to report that their, the female Beagle, died suddenly on February 9th and suffered symptoms consistent with amphetamine poisoning as well, although no necropsy was performed at the time to confirm.

The Equestrian Acres HOA has offered a $250 reward for information leading to the identification and arrest of the person(s) killing our dogs. Many neighbors have expressed interest in donating to raise this reward fund, so I started this GoFundMe.

We are actively working with Palmer Police, Alaska State Troopers, and local community members to solve this crime. The torture and poisoning of an animal is a Class C Felony in the State of Alaska.

Mishka and Lucy were poisoned while secured in their fenced-in backyards during daylight hours. Liquid methamphetamine is the suspected substance, but we don’t know for sure.
