UPDATE TO AID TO UKRAINE We need your help please.

Hi, my name is Jed Lewis. Following a similar trip last December, (photo above handing over supplies and Cornish Pod Pastie!) myself and two others, Pete Dunstone (RadimArmis) and Pete Masters are driving in convoy to Lublin and then on to Ukraine. The aim is to deliver essential vehicles and medical supplies to Doctor Андрій Кошара, relief centres, children’s hospitals, and orphanages in Kyiv.

We will be leaving Cornwall on the 8th April, driving to Dover, ferrying across to Dunkirk then on to Lublin in Poland where we meet our Ukrainian contacts. We will be driving two recently purchased 4x4’s towing two caravans stuffed with much needed aid, which we will hand over to our Ukrainian Doctor contacts to enable them to reach less accessible areas in and around Kyiv. The caravans full of equipment will also be used, as with the previous trip, as housing for displaced people in the Ukraine.

Both the 4X4s and the two caravans we are towing (in the above photos) will be packed full of donated medical supplies and equipment, donated solar panels and inverters and a couple of generators. Power packs for phones are also needed as they are very useful to keep up communications in the event of power failures. Any donations gratefully received.

We are also taking, and seeking, more medicines, including unused prescription medicines, feminine hygiene products, infant formula and nappies. Warm clothing and pet food is also needed. All these can be left at the Rame Centre in Millbrook.

WE HAVE RAISED FUNDS FOR THE FERRY ETC BUT STILL NEED MONEY FOR FUEL PLEASE. If you are able to make a financial donation to help to cover the expenses of this trip that would be fantastic. Money raised will go towards servicing the vehicles, essential spare parts, fuel, ferry crossings and travel costs. We need this to run both vehicles and we would be very grateful.
