Please help save the Raleigh St. Patrick's Day Parade! The beloved Parade has brought joy to generations of people for the past 33 years. This event, which draws 65,000 people to downtown Raleigh every year, is produced by a team of six volunteers. No one associated with the parade committee is paid for their efforts. We do it because we believe that the Irish community embraces family values and celebrates our rich Irish history and traditions. While this may seem quaint, for 33 years it has been enough for us.
We have proudly donated proceeds every year to worthwhile charites, for example, For our Fallen, Tunnel to the Torch , RPD Memorial, Food Bank, Wake Enterprises, Duke Childrens Hospital, St Baldricks, The Helping Hand Mission, Salvation Army and many, many more.
The City of Raleigh is no longer providing the support necessary for the Parade and Festival to continue. The costs associated with permiting, police department coverage, insurance and other costs have skyrocketed this year. In order for us to continue, we need your help.
Please consider becoming a sponsor for this beloved Parade. Any amount will help. Together, we can do it!
For your donation of $25 or more, you will become a founding member of the 5280 (number of feet in the Parade) club. We will give you a place of honor on the 5280 wall of fame on our website.
Does the Parade pass by your business? Consider sponsoring a block of the Parade so your customers will know you care.
If you are a business and are interested in being a corporate sponsor, please email us through our website for more information.
The Raleigh St Patrick Day Parade is a 501 c3 organization. You contributions are tax deductible.
