This fund has been created for those that have been looking for a way to contribute to Poca High Marching Band. As many may already know our uniforms and equipment are in dire need of replacing. The students have had them for going on 14 years now and the wear & tear is more than evident. The students never complain that they don't have new things; it's not who they are. Many play with broken equipment and damaged uniforms but still carry their heads high because they are proud of their band. The dedication the students and staff have would amaze you. They keep moving forward regardless of what obstacles may be in the way.
Our goal is large but we must start somewhere. Your donation of ANY amount is greatly appreciated and will be used to the betterment of this amazing group of young adults. Many in the community have already donated, but several have asked for an electronic method to contribute.
If you include your name or your business name with your donation, we will include you, or your business and its logo in our program for our annual Poca Heritage Day band competition where up to 20 area high school bands and their families come together under the lights at O.O. White Stadium to compete for our Grand Champion prize. (It's September 28th, 2019 for anyone that would like to come donate their TIME or just come see our awesome area bands perform! We can always use volunteers!)
