Kevin Newman’s Time of Need

On December 4th one of Lincoln City’s best was injured at work.   Kevin Newman is the owner of Newman Construction who builds in Olivia Beach and has been part of the community for years...He has always been the one giving and helping others whether it was being a Christian school teacher or coaching softball, baseball, and even football...he has provided a home for over 13 kids needing foster care.  He’s even sponsored, played, and coached coed adult softball.  Right now he has 2 grandkids, 2 daughters and 2 sons, along with his great niece and nephew, and his mother in law with bone cancer that he supports.

He recently was injured with four breaks on his femur bone and had to go under major surgery.  He’s looking at physical therapy and possibly being in a wheelchair depending on how his body recovers.  He might be able to do half of his normal routine in 6-8 months and hopefully full recovery in a year but will never be the same as far as range.  

His family has given so much to the community and now it’s time we give back.  He doesn’t have insurance to cover all the medical bills and would ask if anyone can help it would be very much appreciated.  Christmas is coming and I would love to see them be able to enjoy it and not have to worry about hospital bills.  So please anything you can donate would be very helpful right now and no donation is to small.  And if everyone can keep this family in their prayers and hope for a speedy recovery so Kevin can get back to what he loves doing....we would really appreciate it
