P.J. Huot's Army Amasses Against Leukemia

SUNDAY, JUNE 1, 2025: This weekend, we were hit with the heavy news that P.J. Hout—father, husband, director, writer, bandmate, comedian, concert-goer, positive-energy ambassador, and friend to many, far and wide—was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). This struck suddenly and his condition is severe. P.J. is currently hospitalized at Mass General Hospital where he will begin 28 days of intensive chemotherapy treatment, starting tomorrow. During this time, only immediate family will be allowed to visit, but a great many will be with him as he faces the fight of his life.

P.J. is under the care of some of the world's best, and his condition IS treatable, but a battle lies ahead for P.J. and his family. Nicky, Sam, Owen—and everyone who knows and loves P.J.—will need support.

Lucky for us, we have an army.

As word went out, it became clear how much P.J. means to so many people. Everyone raised their banner. Everyone pledged their love and support. Wide circles intersected, revealing the size and strength of P.J.'s army, eager to help in any way they can.

For now—here's how...

Funds are being raised through this GoFundMe campaign to assist with all the costs the Hout family will bear. Professionally, P.J. is a freelance employee of the Boston Red Sox, Bruins, Celtics, and Boston College among others. The financial toll of missed work will be great, and not made whole by insurance. We've set an initial goal of $25,000 but there is no set limit to what could help P.J. and his family.
